Hilda Schmelling (she/they) is a writer, director, actor, and musician based in Oakland, CA. Brimming with humor, empathy, and eccentricity, Hilda puts themes of liberation and emotional connection at the heart of her artistic endeavors. 

Hilda’s hope for all their creations is to build cultural space for people living at the margins to be represented with humor, authenticity, and a small dash of the absurd.
